Hi! I want to take a moment to share my journey from being a dancer, to masseuse, to becoming a freshly graduated physiotherapist here in Hamburg, Germany. It’s been quite a ride.
First and foremost, a big shoutout to my amazing husband, Rob. He’s been my rock throughout this entire journey. From early morning classes, to my occasional “physiotherapy nerd” moments. Always offering to be my test subject, he’s been there with unwavering support. Thanks a million!
I also want to express my heartfelt gratitude to two of my dearest friends, Curly and Julia. They surprised me with the most incredible graduation present - my very own website. This website is not just a gift; it’s a platform where I can share my passion for physiotherapy, dance, and massage with the world. Curly and Julia, you’re absolute gems!
Now, let’s talk about the transition. Going from seeking a physiotherapist whilst battling injuries from my time as a dancer to helping people recover from injuries and improve their overall well-being was difficult, but worthwhile. One of the highlights of this journey was learning German! Going from French jargon in my ballet classes to German medical jargon wasn’t easy at first, but with a lot of help from Google Translate and pocket dictionaries, I made it! I was able to graduate, as a state-approved Masseuse and Physiotherapist and could not think of a better career for me.
So, here I am, a fresh physiotherapist, ready to make a difference in the lives of my patients. My dancing days will always hold a special place in my heart, and I’m looking forward to combining my these passions in this exciting new chapter.
Cheers to the future, and let’s keep the healing and positive vibes flowing, Aussie style!
